Starter problems, why ?

Starter problems which impair the branching to behavior can be different nature:

  1. not sufficient pretreatment

  2. temperature too low

  3. pH value too low

  4. litre charge too small

  5. the bath composition is outside of the being

  6. the stabilizer content is too high

Again and again in practice occurring the points 1 to 4. Remarkably for me that in particular too few attention is given to the litre charge. The litre charge is a type " law of nature ". If this is too small, it comes either only to local depositions or to no deposition. A further effect after approximately 5 to 10 minutes of the deposition occurs suddenly deadlock and the operators delegates the problem to the provider of the en bath.

Note : If you avoid litre charge under 0,1 dm2/l or if you want to plate really only a small surface, hang additionally into the bath a sheet or another surface of appropriate size.
